Discover Boating National Advertising campaign

The Canadian Discover Boating program launched its new redesigned Discover Boating Centre at the Toronto International Boat Show. Components of the Centre are traveling to boat shows in Montreal, Vancouver, Halifax and Winnipeg.

The Discover Boating National Advertising Campaign will start on March 26th running until June 3rd 2007 .

The Campaign includes English and French network and specialty channel television and a substantial on-line buy.
Budget for the campaign is estimated at $740,000. In addition to the advertising, Discover Boating is going into a third year of a public relations campaign with partners Footprint Partners who work to bring print and television coverage within the regions of all boating story categories. All of the advertising and PR sends people to the DiscoverBoating.ca web site, this site is currently being re-designed and due to re-launch this winter.

AMTA is working with Discover Boating to have Discover Boating Centers featuring their regional contest at the following winter/spring Public events:

Halifax International Boat Show , NS Feb 15 - 18
Moncton Boat Show, Moncton NB March 30 - April 1
Quartermaster Marine Open House, Charlottetown, PEI April 13 - 15
Saltscapes Expo, Halifax, NS April 27 - 29

For the summer of 2007 there will be a Discover Boating Centre at;

Mahone Bay Classic Boat Festival, NS August 2 - 5
